2Pe 3:3  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4  And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
2Pe 3:5  For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pe 3:6  Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
2Pe 3:7  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

THE STORY OF WAFI . . (as told by David Green)

There have been a lot of stories lately (if you've been watching) about                                                                                 Christ appearing to Muslims. It just goes to show you that there is no power                                                                             that can prevent God's Elect from finding their way home! God uses people,                                                                           but he doesn't have to - and that is cool. My uncle Dave met a young Muslim                                                                           named "Wafi", and, well, here's Dave's story in his own words . .

"A few years ago while living in Minneapolis I met a man from Iraq. His                                                                                 name is Wafi, and he is a Muslim. He told me a story about his life that went                                                                             something like this . . "When I was a young man in Iraq I found myself in Saddam Hussein's prison with about 200 other men, in a very small room. It was so crowded we could not lay down to sleep. I was so tired and so thirsty, buty they gave us no water. I somehow found a way to lay down, and when I did, a man came with water cupped in his hands. He knelt down and told me to drink. I drank and drank until I could drink no more, but there was no end to the water. That man was Jesus.

"Later in life I came to America, but nothing was going right for me and I was not doing good things. then I dreamed that I went to the Euphrates river and all the fish in the river were dead, and the banks were covered with dead fish. I picked one up and held it in my hand. I asked myself, "Can God make this fish alive?" And it came alive and all the fish on the bank and in the river came alive and swam away. I turned around and Jesus was standing there behind me. I was that fish. I was dead and Jesus made me alive. I wish I could tell Christians how great Jesus is. There is none greater, but we are not able to comprehend that."

When Wafi and I spoke, the Spirit of God was so strong I cannot put it to words. Wnen he spoke, I was mostly speechless with tears running down my face.

there are not many things in this world darker than Islam. But when light shines into that darkness - how much frighter the light becomes. God be with you Wafi. I'll see ya at home!
