The Last Laugh

It is no secret that the world mocks Christians as losers, fools or worse. But what exactly is the rub between the kingdoms of Men and the Kingdom of God? I forget which of the Roman Caesars said "Christians are against the world!", but I understand his frustration. The essential claim of "Christianity" is that the kingdoms that Men build, including the ultimate globalism which is currently being established, will collapse at the Second Coming of Christ, God's chosen anointed one (messiah), established by His resurrection from the dead. God simply will not have a world without his Son as ruler. All other rulers are temporary and expendable.

If the scriptures are true . . it is over for the world, and history is simply a waiting game. But so far the little black book that Men love to mock has proven to be accurate - and we believe it will continue to be so. So laugh on my friend . . the Bible said you would . .

1Sa 2:7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

1Sa 2:8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.

1Sa 2:9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

1Sa 2:10 The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

" . . Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen"

(Revelation 1:5-7)
